With IMIG as external project manager, we have relocated our logistics to an outsource partner. IMIG successfully managed the project from the development of the as-is and to-be concept, stakeholder management, risk analysis to the implementation of the individual relocation steps and the stabilisation of the processes. IMIG’s expertise helped us to successfully implement the project in time, budget and with the available resources and to achieve the set goals.

The company Elektror and IMIG share a long mutual past. We have worked together to conclude various strategy and implementation projects for many years now. In 2004, for example, we designed and implemented the Elektror Logistics System (ELS) together. In 2017/2018, we executed the Elektror Business Excellence Program at the strategic level and addressed the possible impacts of Brexit as well as opportunities for internationalization. The wide-ranging experience held by IMIG and, especially, their technical expertise helped us a great deal in approaching all of our issue areas. The practical support and implementation within the projects were optimal and success was ensured after the project through review workshops. Implementation coaching in everyday operations was especially useful for all the staff members here at Elektror.

At SFB, we are known for the precision of our products. Yet, we not only achieve customer satisfaction through product quality but also through delivery quality. And this is an area we had to improve in. After conducting systematic assessments of internal processes and the ERP system, IMIG not only showed us the opportunities for organization, processes and the application of unused potential, they also worked with us to develop a realistic plan of implementation. We both rolled up our sleeves and got to work on this. It was important for us to connect our company’s potentials with the experience held by IMIG. Helping us orient our business in line with our objectives proved to be extremely useful, especially for staying on course as an organization. We place immense value on our cooperation with IMIG!

In cooperation with IMIG, we have tackled topics ranging from start-up activities on the shop floor (5S) to strategic perspectives for the future (company concepts) and, despite the level, we are absolutely sure that we chose the right partner for executing these tasks based on the concrete solutions that were offered combined with IMIG’s practical, goal-oriented approach.

Together with IMIG, we successfully address topics ranging from corporate strategy through internationalization to layout and logistics planning and even operational implementation projects. I was especially impressed by the implementation-oriented approach of the IMIG consultants. Our people were closely involved in the projects from the very beginning. This approach was vital for the success and the sustainability of our projects.

At Rational, we worked with IMIG a second time around on an exciting strategy project. The international presence of IMIG and the practical experience-based approach of the consultants helped us a great deal in forming options on the project team and working out the decision-making processing for our top management.

We worked with IMIG on our new production concept, starting from production principles to the selection of the appropriate machines/technology all the way up to the practical implementation of the new production layout. Our staff members were involved very effectively and they received support from IMIG expertise. Whenever we need additional consulting, we look forward to working with IMIG once again.

The armory in today’s plastic injection molding is an enormous potential in the automotive industry for improving production. Concepts were developed together with IMIG. I really liked the direct implementation at the machines performed by our own staff members as well as the experts from IMIG.
