Rene brings a wealth of expertise to our team, supported by his Master’s degree and a remarkable career journey. He began his professional life in the German Army, where he gained invaluable leadership skills through international deployments. After his military service, Rene transitioned into the corporate world, focusing on restructuring, turnaround management, and business recovery. Over the past eight years, he has worked as a management consultant for renowned clients such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, and BMW, as well as Tier-1 suppliers. His achievements include successful Greenfield projects, restructuring initiatives, and regaining IATF certification for mid-sized companies, all while emphasising process optimisation, cost reduction, and high product quality.

Rene joined IMIG in an interim role in March of this year and became a permanent team member in June. In his role, he focuses on strategically positioning IMIG’s “Industrial Consulting” business unit as a leading provider of consulting services, particularly in Germany, while supporting growth across all global locations.
One standout project Rene led for IMIG involved managing a task force for an OEM. He worked to resolve significant production and quality challenges faced by a Turkish supplier, ensuring a successful production ramp-up and meeting the OEM’s stringent requirements. This project exemplifies Rene’s ability to tackle complex challenges with precision.
Rene describes his experience at IMIG as a collaborative journey, with opportunities for growth and development closely aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The creative freedom to shape his work, the inspiring team environment, and the opportunity to engage in exciting projects make IMIG a uniquely rewarding place to work.
Outside of his professional life, Rene has a passion for motorsports and skiing. These hobbies challenge him physically and mentally, sharpening qualities such as focus, precision, and determination, which he brings to his work at IMIG.
