Owen Tribe is the Chief Technology Officer at IMIG, bringing over 30 years of experience in the technology sector. With a BA (Hons.) in Design & Technology, Owen has dedicated his career to building and leading teams that harness the power of technology.

His journey began with the dawn of the Internet, and since then, he has held numerous senior roles, achieving remarkable results for his clients by tackling seemingly impossible tasks “I take great satisfaction in accomplishing what others think can’t be done” notes Owen.
Owen’s expertise lies in digitisation and transformation within highly-regulated sectors, including digital health, medicines, public sector transformation and the environment. He joined IMIG in 2022, and his role encompasses overseeing technology strategy and direction for the wider group as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Additionally, he manages IMIG AI, the technology arm of the business focused on Industry 4.0 and transformative solutions for customers. His responsibilities are diverse, ranging from R&D, management, and development to design, manufacturing, electronics, software and consultancy.
One of Owen’s notable projects at IMIG involved delivering data capture and visualisation for a global automotive castings company, enabling them to understand their Overall Equipment Efficiency and transition to a paperless shop floor. This project exemplifies his ability to drive significant technological advancements and operational improvements for clients.
Owen describes the team dynamic at IMIG as fun and family-oriented, which he values greatly. Outside of his professional life, Owen keeps chickens, a hobby that adds a unique touch to his profile.
