Short Introduction of Tomas Brignell - Consultant at IMIG UK Ltd.
My name is Tomas Brignell, and I am a Consultant with IMIG UK Ltd. I started this role in March of 2020 and I have a fairly detailed knowledge around Process Engineering and Manufacturing Processes. I plan to utilise these skills to both help clients improve existing processes, as well as help successfully launch new projects.
When I am not at work, I love to tinker with old cars and bikes. I’m currently working on a full restoration of my Triumph Spitfire 1500, as well as the general upkeep and maintenance of my 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster, that I enjoy taking touring around the UK.
I earned my Mechanical Engineering Masters degree at the University of Leeds where I was an avid member of the Formula Student Program. The roles I took on included the cockpit ergonomics and seat manufacture as well as taking on the challenge of Team Principal in my final year, successfully taking the car to competition, making it through scrutineering allowing the team to compete in several events.
My previous career role had me working with automotive lighting manufacture, as a lead process engineer, working with some very complex and interesting designs that bought along a variety of challenges to encounter. I developed my skills in problem solving to overcome a multitude of challenges to ultimately help deliver an outstanding final product to customer. This role led me to meet a myriad of interesting people, including some of my current colleagues at IMIG!
This has all lead to my introduction to the world of consulting and hopefully an exciting and prosperous career, I am greatly looking forward to the many years ahead in this field working with the fantastic team at IMIG.
