Short Introduction of Simon Lucas - Senior Consultant at IMIG UK Ltd.

During my 31-year career within Caterpillar Ltd, I developed significant expertise in deploying Lean, Six Sigma Transformation Programmes both in the US and throughout Europe. I managed and operated at all levels of the organisation and in my last position within Caterpillar I was operating at corporate level responsible for deploying the Caterpillar Production System, coaching, auditing and improving 18 facilities within the UK and Continental Europe. In February 2017 I set up my own Limited Consultant Company and for the past 3 years, I have been contracting for Bentley Motors Ltd, developing and improving their tier one supply chain. In May of 2020 I joined IMIG UK as a Senior Consultant. I am currently running improvement project in the UK and also carrying out supplier assessments.

During my downtime I enjoy traveling, I have recently completed a road trip across the UK covering 1500 miles. I love socialising with my friends, singing on the Karaoke and dancing the night away. During the lockdown to keep fit, I started to practice Yoga. I love a game of golf. I am also an avid football fan, supporting my local team Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I am proud to have joined IMIG UK and I am very excited on what the future holds.
